One card per line. Put a dash, tab, comma or colon between the term and the definition.
Space to flip, ← → to move
Space to show the answer, 1 if you didn't know it, 2 if you knew it.
Make flashcards and learn them faster
Type or paste your terms and definitions, then study them four ways: flip through the cards, learn them with spaced repetition, or test yourself with a multiple-choice or typed quiz. It works for vocabulary, exam definitions, formulas, dates, capitals and anything else you need to remember.
Study tips
Keep each card short: one idea per card is easier to remember.
Say the answer out loud before flipping. Recalling it, even wrongly, makes it stick better than rereading.
Study a little every day. Ten minutes daily beats an hour the night before.
It uses the Leitner system, a proven way to remember more with less study time. Every card starts in box 1. When you know a card, it moves up a box; when you don't, it goes back to box 1. Cards in low boxes come up often, and cards you know well come up less, so you spend your time on what you haven't learned yet.
Can I add many cards at once?
Yes. Open “Add many cards” and paste one card per line, with the term and definition separated by a dash, a tab, a comma or a colon. Lists copied from Excel, Google Sheets or Quizlet work too.
Where are my decks saved?
In this browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded. To move a deck to another device or give it to a friend, use “Share link” or download it as a CSV file.
Can I print the cards?
Yes. “Print cards” prints eight cards per page, with the answers on the following page arranged so they line up when you print double-sided (flip on the long edge).
