How to rename many photos at once
- Choose all the photos (or other files) to rename.
- Type a naming pattern, like
wedding-{n}or{date}-{name}, and choose the order. - Check the new names in the list, then download them all in one ZIP.

Frequently asked questions
How does the naming pattern work?
Type the new name with codes in curly brackets: {n} is a number counting up (01, 02, 03…), {name} is the old name, {date} is the date the photo was taken (or the file's date) and {w}x{h} is the size in pixels. For example “holiday-{n}” gives holiday-01.jpg, holiday-02.jpg and so on.
Are my photos changed?
No. The files are exactly the same, only their names change. They download together in a ZIP.
Can I put them in a different order first?
Yes. Sort by name, by the date taken, by size, or keep the order you picked them in.
Does it work for other files?
Yes: any files can be renamed this way, such as PDFs or documents; the size and date taken only work for photos.
