How to plan a meeting across time zones

  1. Add each city or time zone people are joining from. Your own time zone is added for you.
  2. Pick the date, so daylight saving time is right.
  3. Look for the highlighted columns: everyone is in working hours then. Click one to copy the times for the invite.

Tips

  • Between Europe and the US west coast, early morning in California is late afternoon in Europe.
  • Between Asia and the Americas there’s often no shared working hour; take turns being the one with the early or late call.

How does the meeting planner find a good time?

It lines up the 24 hours of the day in each place you add, colours each hour by whether it's working hours, early or late, or night, and highlights the hours when everyone is in working hours.

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Times come from your browser's time zone database, so clocks changing in spring and autumn are taken into account for the date you pick.

Can I change the working hours?

Yes. Set the start and end of the working day. Hours an hour or two either side count as “early or late”, which is often still fine for a short call.

How do I share a time?

Click an hour to select it, then copy the times. You get one line per place, ready to paste into an invite or chat.
