How to make a flowchart
- Pick a starting point, or start from the example on the page.
- Add steps with the shape buttons (or Tab), drag them where you want, and connect them by dragging the dots on their edges.
- Double-click a shape or arrow to type, label decisions Yes and No, then download a PNG, SVG or PDF.
What the shapes mean
- Rounded: where the process starts and ends.
- Rectangle: a step, task or action.
- Diamond: a question or decision, with an arrow for each answer.
- Slanted: information coming in or going out, like a form or a report.
