With “Array of objects”, the first row of the sheet is used as the keys, and every other row becomes an object, like {"Name": "Anna", "Age": 31}. Choose “Array of arrays” to keep every row as a plain list, including the header.
With “Real values”, numbers become JSON numbers, TRUE/FALSE become booleans, and dates become ISO dates such as 2026-03-15. With “Values as shown”, every cell is the text Excel displays, such as 1,250.00.
They're left out of each object by default, which keeps the JSON small. Tick “Include empty cells” to include them as empty strings.
