Watermark Image

Protect your photos with a text or logo watermark. Choose the position, size and opacity, or tile it across the image.

How to watermark a photo

  1. Choose one or more photos.
  2. Type your text or choose a logo, then set the position, size and opacity.
  3. Download the photo, or all photos as a ZIP.

Tips for a good watermark

  • An opacity of 40–60% protects the photo without hiding it.
  • White text with a shadow is readable on both light and dark photos.
  • For documents instead of photos, use Watermark PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use a text or logo watermark?

A text watermark such as “© Your Name” or your website address is quick and clear. A logo looks more professional for a brand; use a PNG with a transparent background so only the logo shows.

Where should I place the watermark?

A corner watermark keeps the photo clean but can be cropped off. “Repeat across the image” is much harder to remove, which is better for proofs and previews you send to clients.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Choose several images, set the watermark once, and click “Download all (ZIP)”. The watermark is sized relative to each image, so it looks the same on photos of different sizes.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Watermarks are added in your browser, and your photos never leave your device.
