How to make a greeting card
Choose a birthday, thank you, holiday or congratulations template, or start blank.
Change the words on the front, then go to the inside page and write your message.
Add a photo, change the colours, or try a different font.
Download a PDF to print, or a PNG to send by message or email.
What to write in a card
Start with their name. “Dear Mum,” or “Hi Sam,” makes it personal.
Say one real thing. A memory, a reason you’re grateful, or a wish for the year ahead means more than a long poem.
Sign it warmly. “With love”, “Best wishes” or “Cheers”, then your name.
Frequently asked questions
What’s inside the card?
Each card has two pages: the front, and the inside with your message, who it’s to and who it’s from. Switch pages under the design. Downloading a PDF gives you both pages, ready to print.
What sizes are the cards?
5 × 7 inches (the standard card size), a square card, and an A6 landscape card with a photo. Choose another size in the Designs panel.
How do I print and fold it?
Download the PDF and print each page on card or thick paper, or print the front and inside on both sides of one sheet. You can also send the front as an image on WhatsApp or by email.
Can AI write the message for me?
Yes. Open Magic and describe the card, like “birthday card for my mum from Sam, she loves gardening”. You get several designs with a greeting and a warm message already written, and you can change any word.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Every template, font, icon and download is free, with no watermark and no sign-up.
Where are my cards saved?
