How to make a social media post
Pick a template, or choose a size in the Designs panel: Instagram post, portrait or story, Facebook, X or Pinterest.
Change the text and colours, and drop in your photos.
Add icons, shapes and your brand colours.
Download a PNG or JPG at exactly the right size for the platform.
Sizes for each platform
Instagram post: 1080 × 1080 (square) or 1080 × 1350 (portrait, shows bigger in the feed).
Stories and Reels covers: 1080 × 1920. Keep text away from the top and bottom 250 pixels, where buttons cover it.
Facebook and X: 1200 × 630 and 1600 × 900.
Pinterest: 1000 × 1500, the tall 2:3 shape pins are shown in.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a carousel?
Yes. Add pages at the bottom of the editor, then download all pages: you get one image per slide, in order, in a ZIP file.
Will the picture be blurry on Instagram?
No. Designs are made at the size Instagram uses, so it doesn't have to resize them. Choose Large (2×) for extra-sharp images on other sites.
Can AI write my design for me?
Yes. Open Magic in the editor and describe what you need, like “birthday party for my son Leo, turning 5, Saturday 3 pm at Green Park”. The date, place and other details are picked out of what you wrote, a small AI writes a headline and short lines, and you get several designs to choose from. The AI runs on your own device, so nothing you type is sent anywhere; the first time it downloads about 500 MB. You can also skip the AI and fill in the words yourself.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Every template, font, icon and download is free, with no watermark and no sign-up. Make as many designs as you like.
Where are my designs saved?
In this browser, automatically, as you work. Without an account, your photos never leave this device. Sign in to keep your designs, photos included, on all your devices: photos are stored privately, and only your account can open them.
