Design a poster from a template or a blank page: big headlines, photos, shapes and icons, then download it as a print-ready PDF or an image.
Describe what you need, and get several designs with your words already in them.
The AI runs on your device, so nothing you type is sent anywhere. The first time it downloads about 500 MB (best on Wi-Fi, and on a computer); after that it starts in seconds.

Tips for a poster people notice
One big message. Someone walking past should get the point in two seconds. Make the headline the biggest thing on the page.
Three sizes of text, at most. A headline, a line of details, and the small print. More than that looks busy.
Strong contrast. Dark text on a light background, or light on dark. Avoid text over busy parts of a photo.
Say what, when and where. Date, time and place are what people look for after the headline.
Frequently asked questions
What size is the poster?
A4 (210 × 297 mm) to start with. Choose New design in the Designs panel for A3, US Letter or A4 landscape. The PDF is made at 300 dpi, ready for home or shop printing.
Can I print it at a print shop?
Yes. Download the PDF: it's the exact paper size at 300 dpi. For A3 or bigger, ask the shop to print it at 100% (no scaling).
Can AI write my design for me?
Yes. Open Magic in the editor and describe what you need, like “birthday party for my son Leo, turning 5, Saturday 3 pm at Green Park”. The date, place and other details are picked out of what you wrote, AI writes a headline and short lines, and you get several designs to choose from. It can also make a picture for a photo frame from a description, like “watercolour balloons and confetti”. You can also skip the AI and fill in the words yourself.
Is it really free, with no watermark?
Yes. Every template, font, icon and download is free, with no watermark and no sign-up. Make as many designs as you like.
Where are my designs saved?
In this browser, automatically, as you work. Without an account, your photos never leave this device. Sign in to keep your designs, photos included, on all your devices: photos are stored privately, and only your account can open them.
