Frequently asked questions
How do I add my screenshot?
Choose the file, drop it on the page, or press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) to paste a screenshot you've just taken. On Windows, Win+Shift+S takes one; on a Mac, Cmd+Shift+4, or Cmd+Ctrl+Shift+4 to copy it straight away.
What size is the picture I download?
Your screenshot keeps its full resolution: the background and padding are added around it. Pick a shape (16:9, square, 4:5 or 9:16) to fit a post exactly, or Fit to keep it just around the screenshot.
Can I make the background see-through?
Yes. Choose None under Background and download the PNG: the space around the window stays transparent, with the shadow, for slides and documents.
Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. Everything is drawn in your browser, so it's safe for screenshots with private details.
