Frequently asked questions
Which PDFs convert well?
PDFs made by a computer, with real text: bank statements, invoices, price lists and reports exported from another app. The tool finds the rows and columns from where the text sits on the page. Scanned PDFs are pictures, so turn them into text first with Scanned PDF to Text (OCR).
Are numbers kept as numbers?
Yes, when “Numbers as numbers” is ticked: amounts like 1,234.50, (12.00) and 45% become numbers in Excel, so you can add them up. Codes with leading zeros, like account numbers, are kept as text.
Can I get one sheet for the whole PDF?
Yes. Choose “All pages in one sheet”. Otherwise each page gets its own sheet, named Page 1, Page 2 and so on.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It's read and converted on your device, in your browser.
