Frequently asked questions
What size should a profile picture be?
Most sites show it as a small circle but keep a bigger copy: 800 × 800 pixels works almost everywhere (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Zoom and Teams). Choose 400 for a small file or 1080 for the sharpest.
Round or square?
Most sites crop your picture into a circle themselves, so a square picture is fine. Choose Round (PNG) to get the circle already cut out, with see-through corners, for slides, emails and websites.
Can I change the background?
Yes. Press Remove the background: a small AI model (7 MB, once) cuts you out on your device. Then pick a colour or a gradient behind you.
Can I add text to the ring?
Yes. Type a few words, such as “Open to work”, “Hiring” or your team name, and they curve along the bottom of the ring.
